Western Rivers Provo River Guide Service is one of the oldest, and most respected in all of Utah. From our shops inception in 1986 to present day- we have our fingers on the pulse of all of the major hatches, and changes the river undergoes. We offer guided trips on the Middle and Lower sections of the Provo with a guide crew that has literally grown up fishing these waters, and both fisheries are amazing in their own right. Our state may be known internationally for the Green River, but our venerable Provo is the Wasatch Front's gem, and rightfully so! A storied history of record fish, amazing hatches, and beautiful scenery makes the Provo River a place that no one should pass up when visiting Utah. With fish populations averaging 2,700-3,000 fish per mile, and only forty-five minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, there is no reason not to experience a day on the water that rivals any blue-ribbon trout stream in the lower 48.
